Talks

Abstract
AI is changing how we build and how we review code. In this session, we’ll show a pragmatic workflow: vibe coding - using AI assistants to plan, scaffold, and implement changes via prompts - and then AI code review to triage issues before merge. You’ll see a case where an AI assistant adds a feature and an AI reviewer makes a review. We’ll finish with a hybrid playbook: what to let AI automate, what humans must own, guardrails for privacy, supply chain, and approvals.

Key Takeaways
  • AI assistants can speed up coding, but require structured prompts and guardrails.
  • AI reviewers improve feedback speed and consistency, but can’t replace human judgment.
  • Hybrid workflows (Prompt, PR, Review) deliver the best balance of speed and quality.
  • Governance matters: human approvals, secret scanning, and audit trails are non-negotiable.

Target Audience
  • Professional developers and tech leads interested in AI-assisted workflows.
  • Architects and DevOps engineers exploring CI/CD automation.
  • AI enthusiasts curious about practical coding applications.
