We were given the challenge of deploying a CMS-based web portal that could handle a good amount of traffic spikes—some millions of visits in about 20 minutes.
The catch? It’s a monolith, so we couldn’t just break it apart. Instead, we had to rely on tweaking the cloud infrastructure and make it work.
