Q. Tell us a bit about yourself. What are your hobbies and interests?
The first and most important passion is for software – I enjoy contributing to various open source projects and absolutely love building and cool and fun stuff 🙂
Q. Why did you select this topic for your session at Voxxed Days Cluj-Napoca 2017?
In the past year I’ve been working extensively with Kuberentes, both professionally and personally – besides that, it’s one of the coolest container technologies out there!
Q. Who should attend your session?
Anyone who is working with Kubernetes or is thinking about getting started is welcomed to my session – see point 4 in what you will take away 🙂
Q. What are the key things attendees will take away from your session?
If you are experienced with Kubernetes, you will leave the room having a clear picture on how to package your app in a Helm chart and start Jenkins pipelines – if you are just getting started, you will get the ease of deploying your app with Draft in a matter of seconds, without prior knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes.
Q. Aside from speaking at Voxxed Days Cluj-Napoca 2017, what is the year review look like for you?
Well, besides the regular conferences in Romania I speak to and attend, this year I’m also going to JSTalks in Sofia in my first conference outside Romania – looking forward to more of them 🙂
Q. What are your plans for the next year?
For the next year I’m planning to contribute more on the Kubernetes project and to some Kubernetes-related projects of my own.
