Q. Tell us a bit about yourself. What are your hobbies and interests?
One of the Top 3 romanians on Stackoverflow with 115k reputation points achieved. Also proud being a Google Developer Expert at REEA Tirgu Mures.
My hobbies are mountain hiking, riding the bicycle, driving the gokart. Among other things I do like ballroom dancing and I have strong interest in emerging technologies, progressive web apps, cloud technologies, scalability and architecture.
My main interes is to arhitect systems to handle huge data sets, and be able to run interesting reports on those. I often work with tables larger than a terabyte.
Q. Why did you select this topic for your session at Voxxed Days Cluj-Napoca 2017?
Nowadays there are solutions to store everything, and using the cloud services it’s affordable. Not lot of people have heard about BigQuery a petabyte scale full SQL-2011 managed database service, which helps to maintain the large data sets we are producing.
Q. Who should attend your session?
Also if you are an arhitect or a product owner who wants to scale your project big, and boost the analytics part it, come to find out how to arhitect for cloud without large code change, just by adding an event router component.

Q. Aside from speaking at Voxxed Days Cluj-Napoca 2017, what is the year review look like for you?
This year was quite challenging for me, was able to attend Google Developer Days in Krakow, and speak also at Google DevFest Ukraine, Voxxed Days Bucharest, and other dozen opportunities.
Q. What are your plans for the next year?
Next year I am planning to learn more about machine learning and AI, and I will buy some bitcoins as well 😉
