Well, I always wanted to be mathematician 🙂 And I almost made it… But I started CS as parallel degree to be able to do sth for living… I despised programming during first years, but then I got used to it 🙂
I find IT conferences a great way to meet developers from different companies and/or countries. I like to attend/speak at conferences in central/middle/eastern Europe, as I feel part of it, so I find Belgrade a great place to visit.
When I started working @ TouK my first son was born. We were also releasing very important and difficult project at that time, so I didn’t have much sleep for both of these reasons. And sometimes when I was awaken by cry of my child I’ve mistaken him for our system. My wife still remembers I was murmuring “there should be two of them” looking at the cradle (I was thinking about some XML messages…)
